My Helpers

 Costco trips!
It's so nice that the girls are big enough to carry things in :)
 Kitchen helpers, too.

Not a helper...I guess this 6 1/2 foot snake is in a way...eats the mice!

Tuesday

Love these two sweet girls I get to spend the mornings with while Maddie is at school.
My sweet baby is growing up!
On Tuesdays, Penny comes over and helps with the kids so that I can get some much-needed projects done. It's amazing what you can accomplish in a few hours of uninterrupted time! Savannah gets spoiled on Tuesdays :)
I found these unusual creations in our yard. God's creativity astounds me.
We had a date night (yeah, just the 2 of us :) Tuesday night! It was so fun having dinner, talking, and taking a walk with the one I love.
Thanks Penny for serving our family!

Thankful for TeamMates

I'm very thankful for the ABF (Adult Bible Fellowship) I go to on Sunday mornings. It's made up of other families with kids in about the same stage of life. It's encouraging to talk about the Lord together, and bring the relationships outside of church to play dates and friendships. This group excels at serving  and praying for one another. The other week, the Pinkleys hosted everyone at their house for a BBQ after church. We had a great time, and so did the kids:)
Thanks Sarah for the family pic!

Teeth

We've got teeth coming in and teeth falling out here at the Johnsons!
Poor girl has been kinda fussy with her two bottom teeth coming in.
Maddie's first tooth fell out at school...so fun!
The "tooth mouse" gave her gold coins last night :) She knows it's mom and dad!

Mother's Day Celebrations

Maddie's class had all the moms in to celebrate Mother's Day. They served us chocolate covered strawberries, sang to us, and gave us flower pots they painted.
I love this sweetie!
Friday afternoon Jesse came home and surprised me with a night away with my friend Michelle.
We followed a little scavenger hunt to a restaurant.
Then we went to this hotel! The best part was just having uninterrupted time to talk together. It was so great to talk about the Lord, and our walks with Him.
On Sunday after morning church and before evening service, we had the Leaches over for our Sunday tradition...waffles! It was so much fun!

Long Time Friends

This week we were able to host Jan Tremaine, her sister, and their grandpa. We have been friends for 30 years, even though we've lived in different states for the last 24 years!
She was able to meet Savannah and Geneva.
It's so fun to have a friend that you can pick up with where you left off! We don't get to see each other much, but have a bond in the Lord that for exceeds the need for frequent visits. I'm thankful for her love for the Lord and family of 5 children.
We even lived on the same street for a few years when we were little! Hope to see you all soon!

Hair Cuts and 7 Months

The girls were well overdo for haircuts! So, last night I gave them a new look :)
 Not sure about this pose...
Love that these girls beg Jesse to read them books every night, then asks him to sing, and pray- sweet bed time routine.

Geneva did not get a haircut!
She loves peek a boo with this bear.
 Sweet feet.
Geneva loves blowing bubbles! She even does it when eating- which makes quite a mess!
She loves baby food, and now does 4 bottles of about 6 ounces each a day.
Neva giggles at her sisters, loves being outside, and has started sitting up.
She's glad that her first tooth is in!

These Girls

We're so happy that Spring is here! Lots of outside play time. This week the girls made "soup"- water, dirt, sand, rocks, weeds, and a few flowers on top!
Got to love a sleeping princess with her "frince" as she calls him (prince).
Can you see Savannah sleeping? Yes, she was falling asleep during the AWANA awards. Poor baby!
Sorry about the terrible filming, but at least you can get a good laugh over her drifting off!
I love my little Puggle. I asked her after the awards if she wanted to go to the party or sleep in my arms and without reservation she said, "PARTY!".
I'm really thrilled that Maddie finished her first Sparks book this year. It was a challenge for her to memorize some of the verses on busy weeks, but she persevered and completed an entire book.
It's powerful to hide God's Word in your heart.
I'm thankful for the AWANA leaders and staff who so faithfully serve our kids. It's a huge commitment because they make a weekly sacrifice and encourage the kids to love the Word.
